Kevlar construction provides 4 times the cut resistance of leather as well as heat and flash protection to 800 F (427 C). Water resistant elasticized wrist keeps the Operator taut while the elasticized gauntlet keeps out foreign objects and prevents snagging. Cut-Ring stitching on the index finger allows optional removal for trigger operation without unraveling the remaining edge. A second layer of leather in the palm provides additional grip and is ergonomically cut to prevent bunching while clenching objects.
