Today's marriage ceremony can be as simple or as complex as you desire.
The beauty is that, each ceremony is a unique creation highlighting you - with personal touches you can be assured that the ceremony is as much about you, as it is about being a legal binding declaration. Your ceremony is a culmination of steps that have lead to a point where upon you have decided to commit to each other as llfe partners.
Components of your ceremony can be added to, rearranged or deleted to suit. Remember always, this is your ceremony and together we will create a symbolic, personalised ceremony. I have a selection of poems, readings and vows for your use.
For the marriage to be legal there are 3 legal requirements to be performed during the ceremony - the Monitum must be stated by an authorised marriage celebrant - The Vows , calling on all present to witness the marriage & 2 witness over the age of 18 to witness & sign your certificates. The rest is up to you.
This is your ceremony so be as creative as you wish. If you have any queries, just ask!
I have a PA system and can play background music, while your guests are waiting and during the ceremony for the bridal party entrance, the bride's entrance, the signing of the certificates and at the end of the ceremony. Music sets the mood - so once again be creative in your selection.
The ceremony order is basically this:
Guests arrive - (ensure the invitations state a time that is at least 15 minutes earlier than the bride's arrival time)
Groom and groomsmen arrive around the same time as the guests and can mingle for a while
Groom and groomsmen assume their places
Processional music and the entrance of the bridal party
Bride enters accompanied by the person who will "give her away"
I begin by introducing myself and welcoming all
