This system works with a double caldron in which water is placed.
The alembic has got a tube which is for excessive vapours created in the external chamber, because the external cauldron contains water is necessary at the end of each distillation to check the temperature and water level as it is necessary to return the same water that evaporated.
The process of the double chamber avoid the direct contact of the substances to be distilled, avoiding the fact of these being burned and provides a uniform and constant temperature, essentials for the process of distillation and achieving a clean and pure distilled.
