L & G PUMP REPAIRS AND REWINDS cc were established during November 1989, specializing in pump repairs, sales, servicing and rewinds.



SERVICE



Our staff are adequately trained & qualified to handle all types of repairs and rewinds on electrical motors and Pumps. Our service is of high standards.



We do all machinery e.g. Re-sleeve end shields, rotor repairs etc. In-house. We supply both new and reconditioned pumps and motors at very competitive prices, and have a big variety of second hand pumps and motors in stock.



We supply all electrical equipment e.g. Telemacnique, Siemens, GEC, Omron, cabling, lighting and wiring etc.



We do panelbuilding to specifications and installations.



Quality control is of utmost importance and we take full responsibility in assuring that our standards of workmanship are kept at the highest level.



We also offer a 24 hour breakdown service, 7 days a week. We will collect and deliver FREE of charge.

REWINDS



All rewinds are done with SABS wire, and class "H"-insulation used with silicone leads. We rewind from .37kw up to 300kw, with a conditional guarantee off 6 months on all rewinds.



BEARINGS



All Bearings are replaced by S.K.F. or FAG and our quotations will always include replacements. Spares like fans, cowls and terminal box complete etc. are purchased from NDA.  OEM spares are readily available.

g and quotes given are free of charge up to 90kw. From 90kw and up, normal labour rates will apply.



TESTING



Motors get prime tested, pressure tested, lock motor tested and run tested.  Test bed 0 - 1000V - 400 A (AC) Electronic, and 0 - 440 V (DC).

Submersible pumps tested - Water tank with flow meters and pressure valves. Balancing is subcontracted.



VARNISH



Dip method, pre heat clip (Isonel 31)



OVEN



Thermo controlled and auto start and stop. Size 2.5 X 1.5
