Rows of mithun teeth sewn onto a thick leather backing.  The leather has been replaced within the last 20 years, but the teeth are old.  From Nagaland, east India.  Early to mid 20th century, components probably older.  Necklaces such as these use only the incisors of mithun cattle and thus represent the accumulated wealth of a family or clan.
