  Eating Disorders take many forms from eating too much to practically nothing at all and may have various other patterns of behaviour that maybe causing concern for family and friends.

In Villa Ramadas we identify the pattern of eating disorder being shown at the time and Historically. This may be:
-Anorexia
-Bulimia
-Over Eating
-Or a mixture of all of the above

Eating Disorders are a highly specialised area of treatment as total abstinance from food is not an option. The challenge for the counselling team is to help the patient to relearn to eat at regular intervals in a well-balanced and healthy manner. This, we believe, is the result of the patient adhering to the Philosophy of Villa Ramadas and the 12 step programme.
