The parents tend a very fine property of 53 ha to the north of the lake of Scamendre; their son Francois works in the vineyard, while the daughter Fanny is in charge of the wine-making. The colour is very deep purple with violet highlights. The structure is elegant as the name suggests, and the tannins, rather obvious, will soften well in time, 1* in the guide Hachette 2002.
