This gau, or Buddhist portable shrine, is made from beaten copper with a leather surround and a cloth strap.  The beaten metal front depicts Chepu the demon killer and the 8 auspicious symbols.  A small glass window is set in the front, allowing the object of worship to be seen.  Inside, there is a small clay image, identity unknown, and some fabric, probably blessed prayer flag material.
